Dominyk Antonio Alfonseca , 23-year-old is currently in police custody after robbing a bank at the Virginia beach and posting the picture on Instagram. The man had walked into the bank with a note to the demanding that he needed 150,000 bands. Alfonseca later made his escape after he got the money from the bank.
In a note he shared on his Instagram account @himandher91, the note reads :
"I need 150,000 bands right now!! Please police take 3 to 4 minutes to get here, I would appreciate if you ring the alarm a minute after I am gone ... . Make sure the money doesn't BLOW UP ON MY WAY OUT :)"
Shortly after leaving the bank, Alfonseca shared the video of 2 women stacking up his bag with cash and also the note he showed the teller on Instagram. After 20 minutes of leaving the bank, Alfonseca was arrested.
Despite evidence against him, the young man said he is not guilty because he never robbedthe bank, but instead asked politely:
" I'm basically asking permission for money"
"In my eyes I did not commit a robbery, and I feel I'm being charged without reason."
Alfonseca said the teller made the decison to give him the money, because he never threatened any of them, comparing the situation to a basketball game, he said :
"She had to make the shot – shoot it or not shoot it, you know what I mean? It either goes in or it doesn’t. She could’ve said ‘no’ and I could’ve left.”
When asked if he would have left if he was not given the money, he said :
“Of course. What I was going to do?”
Finally, during his interview Alfonseca gave a “shout out” to singers Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga, as well as First Lady Michelle Obama.
