A Russian woman who was told to report at the police station, had ignored police call and fled the city of Vung Tau, Vietnam. The unnamed woman had received 2 different transfers of $1,570 and another $570 into her Dong A bank account in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province on December 9 and 15 respectively.
On December 18, she came to the bank to withdraw $570, but the bank clerk mistakenly gave her $12,145, but only realised her mistake when the woman had left the bank. The bank tried reaching her and contacting her, but received no response.
Police tried to contact her to returning the money, and she promised she will do so, but later found out she had left the province.
