Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi airstrike

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi might have died following a Russian airstrike in May 28. The Russian defence ministry said that it is now investigating the report that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was also killed in the airstrike.

                    

The airstrike was carried out at the outskirt of the ISIS stronghold city, Raqqa. According to Russian state news agency, Tass;

According to information, which is being verified via different channels, the meeting was also attended by the IS leader Ibrahim Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who was eliminated in the strike.

The US army, though at different times have claimed to have killed the ISIS leader, then it turns out he was not killed, or only injured in the airstrike.

The leaders were discussing exit strategy from the so-called Southern corridor, when the airstrike killed them, also in late May,  330 field commanders and militants, in the southern suburb of Syria’s Raqqa were targeted Russia Air forces.

 

 

The recent heavy war declared on ISIS by ISIS might be yielding results after a convoy carrying the ISIS leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was hit by an airstrike at Iraqi province of Anbar. The ISIS leader convoy was travelling to a meeting to meet other ISIS top leaders close to the Syrian border.

              

The location where the meeting was to hold was also hit by the Iraqi airstrike too, and have reported that many of the top leaders were killed, but the fate of the ISIS leader is unknown. In a statement that was released by the military, it said;

 Iraqi air forces have bombed the convoy of the terrorist Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi while he was heading to Karabla to attend a meeting with Daesh commanders. The location of the meeting was also bombed and many of the group's leaders were killed and wounded.
