Rapper Bobby Shmurda has agreed to plea guilty to Deal On Conspiracy Charges. The rapper under the new deal will face 7 years in prison time and avoid the weapons and drug charges.
Bobby is accused to have conspired with a Brooklyn street gang that were involved in violent drug wars. He has been jailed since 2014, along with 15 others from his crew who were accused of murder, attempted murder and drug dealing.
The singer came into spotlight after his "Hot n***" and "Shmoney" dance featured in one of his videos.
According to TMZ, Bobby lawyers are advising him to take the new deal as he would not get a sympathetic jury and some of his crew are facing life. If he refused the deal and decides to go on trial, he might face decades of jail time.
Bobby has served 20 months in prison, and it will also be taken into account when his release date is set.
