A British English teacher in Cambodia, Christopher Paul Heath, got stabbed by his Khmer girlfriend yesterday in their rented house in Toul Kork district. According to local news report, the neighbours had called the police after Christopher screamed for help.

                 

According to neighbours around the scene where the stabbing took place, the 2 adults have been arguing on top of their voice in their home, when suddenly there was silence and what follow the silence was a loud scream by Christopher.

The neighbours called the police to the scene, but the lady had already ran away, but send Christopher to the hospital.

The immigration department in Cambodia has arrested 45 Nigerians who were staying in the country illegally. The police is meeting into letting some of the Nigerians that can get their visa and other relevant documents sorted out in a short period of time stay in Cambodia. They will also pay fines for staying illegally.

                   

The crackdown of illegal Nigerians in Cambodia also happened in 2009, when fifty-seven Nigerians were apprehended and detained from a local church in Tuol Svay Prey I commune in Chamkar Mon district, thirty were later released after they could verify their identity with relevant documents and other freed the next day.

"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" and a woman has gone mad on her husband and decided to smash his windshield after she saw him driving around town with a young lady.

The incident happened on the Federal Russian Blvd in front of the entrance of Po Chen Tong hospital located at Tagnong village, Kakarb commune, Po Senchey district in Cambodia around 2:00 pm on 09 June 2015.

                         

According to the cambodiaexpatsonline, the husband who is also in the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces was driving a car with the plate number,  09 2-9005, had allegedly told the wife he was busy with work and would not be able to take her to the pagoda during during Phcum Ben.

The young lady was not in the car when the woman got hold of her husband as she was reported to have dropped along the way, but the woman managed to jump on the SUV bonnet, even after pushes by the husband driver, hitting her, but she keeps standing up, and when she got hold of herself, she smashed the windshield of the car with her bare legs Surprised, while shouting on top of her voice.

A former military personnel, Kim Marintha, 57, who confessed to killing his wife and their 6-year-old daughter has been sentenced to life in prison by a Phnom Penh Municipal Court on Thursday. Marinatha killed Va Dary,30-year old who he accused of online dating and gambling, and killed her last year February, in the process knocking their 6-year old daughter, breaking her neck in the fall.

Marinatha later ordered his son, Kim Sem Rithy, and son-in-law,Chea Sok Samnang, to dispose off the body in the rural Kom­pong Speu province.Kim Sem Rithy was sentenced to 2 and half years, while the son-in-law, Chea Sok Samnang was sentenced to 18 months for taking part in dumping the woman's corpse at Kom­pong Speu province.

               

                      Marinatha and Da Vay when the going was good

In his defence, Marinatha said he had killed the two "Accidentally". He said his wife was gambling and having an online affair, which caused him to have a temper, and killing the two "accidentally".The presiding judge,Judge Heng Kesaro sentenced Marinatha to death for "Premeditated" murder.

Judge Heng Kesaro also ordered Marinatha to pay the sum of $200,000 to Da Vy's mother, Mey Lyly.

The former military general was arrested while attempting to cross the border from Thailand to Laos with the assistance of INTERPOL in September 2014, 7 months after the killing of the wife and their daughter.

According to police reports, Marinatha, the owner of GST bus, had bought big plastic bags on February 12th, 3 days to the murder of the wife.

Mey Lyly said that her daughter while at the apartment her husband had given to her, had only lived there as a slave, and he only visited her once or twice in a week. She said her daughter fall in love with a Cambodian man in Japan. She also said she is happy that Marinatha will spend the rest of his life in Jail.
