Curtis Banks and Marvin Banks

A routine traffic stop have left 2 Mississippi cops, dead after they were ambushed  and left wounded on Saturday in the town of Hattiesburg. The two officers, Benjamin Deen, 34, and Liquori Tate, 25 were discovered by passer-by after they were shot and their police cruiser taken away from them.

The officers were taken away from the scene of the accident to Forrest General Hospital and the county coroner confirmed their deaths.

One of the officer was saying, 'Am I dying? I know I'm dying. Just hand me my walkie-talkie.', Tamika Mills, an eye witness reporter said.

After a manhunt for the men who shot the officers,  Curtis Banks and Marvin Banks. It is now believed Marvin Banks is taken into custody at the North Gate Inn. The cruiser taken away from the policemen was found abandoned near railroad tracks behind the train depot.

The two officers were discovered by Hattiesburg residents, Mills and Pearnell Roberts. Both suspects involved in the shooting are have criminal records and considered to be armed and dangerous.
