Elevator fall at Hoang gia lai

Police in Danang City, Vietnam are currently investigating a case of where 10 people were injured in Hoang Gia Lai hotel. The elevator had a problem on July 17th around 9pm when about 400 people were leaving a conference in the 22nd floor of the hotel.

Hoang Gia Lai Hotel is a 5-star hotel and was hosting a conference with 400 people. Their elevator suffered a malfunction and had a free floor when it got to the 6th floor. Injuries from people in the hotel ranges from broken thigh bone, knee fractures and fracture in the vertebrae.

                  

According to reports from people in the Elevator, they said the elevator was not crowded, and people in the suddenly there was a strange noise before it went down so fast, with everyone yelling all at once.

All injured people in the accident were later taken to Danang hospital, where they were all given medical attention. Eight of the people in the elevator were all discharged the same day, while 2 with serious injuries are still at the hospital. One person suffered a serious injury to their spine.

The hotel representatives have visited the patients at the hospital and promised to cover all medical bills.
