Four Britons and a French have been reported dead in a remote mountain area in Quebec area, Canada. The bodies of the five tourists and the pilot have been found by the Canadian military parachutists.

The plane operated by Air Sanguenay was on a routine sightseeing before the crash on Sunday  afternoon in Les Bergeronnes. The names of the victimsare yet to be released to the general public.

                

Speaking to the Canadian media, Vice-president of the airline, Jean Tremblay, said ;

DeHavilland Beaver seaplane was on a routine sightseeing flight, taking off from Tadoussac, around 250 miles from Montreal.

The flight was only supposed to last 20 minutes and conditions were excellent at the time of the crash. At first glance, the weather conditions are not at all the cause, that is clear

The pilot involved is said to have 6,000 hours of flying experience and had worked for Air Saguenay for 14 years. He has been named in reports as Romain Desrosiers.

The pilot is said to be Romain Desrosiers, while the French lady is Emilie Delaitre, a 28-year-old French tourist. The UK foreign office is working with the Canadian authority to identify the other 4 Britons in the plane crash.
