A lone gunman had attacked Umqua College school Roseberg, Oregon, killng 9 people. The names of the victims have now been announced as family and friends braced up themselves, while they listen to the names of people that died in the shootout.

Lawrence Levine
Lawrence Levine,67, was the creative writing teacher at the college and was taking a class when the young man arrived. Friends and family gathered in his home to mourn the death of their good friend and brother.
Lucero Alcaraz
The 19-year old nursing student of UCC was also part of the attack, her grieving sister, mourned her on Facebook with this words:
Lucero, I miss you I wish you were here. I can't sleep. I never got the chance to tell you how proud of you I was. You would have been a great pediatric nurse. I was so proud of you for getting you college completely paid through scholarships and you made it into college honors. You were going to do great things love. I ache so much right now… I need you…”
Quinn Glen Cooper
18-year old Quinn just graduated high school in June and the day of the shooting was only his fourth day at the college.
Lucas Eibel
Another victim of the shooting is a 18-year old Lucas. Lucas was a quadruplet with two brothers and a sister. He graduated from Rosenborg high school this year.
Jason Dale Johnson
Jason had just got back from Salvation Army Portland, after a 6-months drug rehabilitation, and he had joined the college. It was his first week at the college before he was shot.
According to his mother Tonja Johnson Engel;
He started Monday and he was so proud of what he had accomplished, and rightly so, theother day he looked at me and hugged me and said, 'Mom, how long have you been waiting for one of your kids to go to college?' And I said, 'Oh, about 20 years.
Trevon Taylor
Another victim in the Oregon shooting. He was 20 years old when he was murdered.
Sarena Dawn Moore
Ms Moore, 44, was another victim of the shooting spree that killed 9 people.
Rebecka Carnes
Rebecka was only 18 when she was killed at the killing spree. In the words of Rebecka Ann, her mom, she wrote ;
Speechless! Your cousins are your first bestfriends I got the pleasure of having this Amazing young lady as mine. She had the biggest heart an amazing soul. The world clearly couldnt handle that much good. But now your flying high with the beautiful angels and you get to be with grandma. I love you so much and am going to miss you! Rest in peace, Rebecka Ann.
