Popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe marriage hits the rock after 7 years. According to reports and images posted to the internet, Lanre Gentry, the husband of Mercy Aigbe has suddenly turned to a boxer and turned Mercy to his punching bag after he started going out with a lady called Opemititi.

                             

Mercy Aigbe took to instagram and wrote, "Say No to domestic violence", and the husband comment on the image writing, "say No to promiscuous women."

There is no concrete reporting from both parties, aside from reports flying around that adultery from one of the lovers is the switch that killed the seven years old marriage.

Mercy Aigbe, her personal assistant and driver were reported to be harassed by the Nigerian police force yesterday around 4:30pm at Olaiya Junction in Osogbo. According to conflicting reports, the Nollywood actress was allegedly arrested because she displayed a police cap on her dashboard, while another report said she was arrested because her driver was making phone calls while driving, putting other road users into danger.

                  

When she was asked to step out of her car for a search by the police, Mercy won't come down, instead, was making phone calls, an act that angered the officers, and collected and seized her phone. 

The action attracted a lot of passersby, and the police fired a few shots into the air to disperse crowds, and arrested Mercy, driver and personal assistant. 

In the early hours today. Mercy Aigbe took to social media to explain her own side of the story, and this is what she said;

    

     

     

Mercy Aigbe seems to be improving or probably increase her personal assistant salary, as she posted a beautiful picture of herself this morning, clear out the negativity, and giving fans the positivity, also giving out cash prize for the winner.
