Phnom Penh, Cambodia: Police have found the body of a Chinese construction site manager hacked to death with an axe in Phnom Penh’s Por Sen Chey district, Cambodia on Monday night.

 Cai Weilin, 42, and engineer and manager was found dead by his friends at the New Town Apartment construction site in Por Sen Chey’s Choam Chao commune at about 8:30pm.

       

Police official said :

  He was beaten and chopped by an axe [two times] on his head by the perpetrators, and died in a pool of blood.He was found dead by his Chinese friends, and they later reported it to our local police.The perpetrators have escaped

The killing of Weilin is characterised as a revenge attack by the Cambodian workers, after it was reported he had an argument with the workers earlier that evening. He had told the workers that they are lazy and are not following instructions. The men came back while he was working at on the first floor of the construction site and hacked him to death.

Weilin body had been transferred to the Chinese embassy. Police have identified the suspects and are currently seeking their arrest.

Phnom Penh: Police in Phnom Penh have the CEO of Aero Cambodia, Brian Naswall after they allegedly caught him abusing a 12 year old girl in the presence of 2 other underage girls.

                  

Brian Naswall, an American, is the CEO of Aero Cambodia for abusing underage girls and was also allegedly caught. Brian Naswall before his arrest had lured a 12 year old girl to a quiet area in Koh Pich island with the promise of money.

Action Pour Les Enfants (APLE) organisation assisted the police in their investigations in arresting Brian Naswall. The country director of APLE, Samleang Seila said :

  He was caught red-handed by the local police

Since Brian Naswall arrest, 6 other alleged victims had come forward in Phnom Penh and as police continues their investigation, more victims are expected to show up.

Mr Seila said:

  Police are also looking at other witnesses and victims as well as digital evidence,they suspect he was producing pornographic material

The alleged abuse could be widespread because of Brian Naswall frequent travels round the country because of the nature of his job.

Brian Naswall arrest is coming weeks after the Preah Sihanouk provincial court arrested Philippe Broaly, 50,  the former director of NGO Enfants du Cambodge to 8 months in prison for sexually abusing 5 boys under his care.

Brian Naswall will appear in court on the 26th of May, 2015
