In what he had thought would end in praises from the school and his friends at his high school in Irving, Texas, instead almost landed him in jail. A 14-Year old boy, Ahmed Mohamed was taken away by police after the school called that he had brought a bomb to school.

The boy's photo was uploaded to the social forum, Reddit, wearing a NASA T-shirt, looking surprised after he brought a digital clock he had made with a pencil to show his friends and the school. According to Ahmed;
They arrested me and they told me that I committed the crime of a hoax bomb, a fake bomb,” the freshman later explained to WFAA after authorities released him.
The Irving, Texas spokesperson,Officer James McLellan said;
We attempted to question the juvenile about what it was and he would simply only tell us that it was a clock.
The news of Ahmed has travelled across the country with many criticizing the action of the school and arresting a young smart boy happy about his new invention.
The news also got to the CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, and he invited him to Facebook headquarters;
POTUS also tweeted encouraging Ahmed to continue on his path,and he would like to host him if he ever thinks of coming to Whitehouse
