Rita Ora reflected on her past before getting into the limelight, the "I will never let you down" crooner talks about how she was dismissed suddenly by two record labels, before really getting at this point of her life.
The X-factor judge, Rita Ora,24 year old said;
I’ve been asked what is the lowest point I’ve had so far.People don’t seem to remember I’ve been dropped twice and that it’s not always about wearing a dress on a red carpet.
There were points where I just didn’t want to be alive. I thought to myself ‘What am I going to do? This was all I ever wanted in my life – this was everything to me.
So imagine if someone keeps stepping on you and it’s everything you are
Rita Ora said that her family has been of great support when she was down in her life, and she later got signed to Roc Nation label, and dropped hits like, "Right Now"
She also talked about how she suffered from the public break-up from DJ Calvin Harris, 31. Harris banned Rita Ora from performing one of her popular singles, "I Will Never Let You Down", as he has the rights to the song.
Rita said;
There was a reason I split up with Calvin. I was in awe. I was at that point where I felt he could do no wrong. I thought he had my back and that he’d never steer me wrong. But then I Will Never Let You Down came out and everything started to go a bit weird.
I don’t know if it was because business was mixed with personal or what. I would rather the split had been private but I’m not private and nor is my job. It was a period of my life I will value for ever. But some things are not meant to be.
