Dylann Roof, a white supremacist that killed nine people at the  Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in June, 2015 has now been sentenced to death. The verdict came after Dylann offered no proof of redemption.


The 22 year old told the jury;

I felt like I had to do it and I still feel like I had to do it.

After 3 hours of deliberation, the jury comes to the conclusion of its sentencing. 

The Charleston killer told the police he wanted to start a race war, and in different images that surfaced, he was seen with a war flag, which to many is a symbol of hate. 

Dylan Roof was convicted of 33 federal charges, including hate crimes.


Dylann Roof, 21, of Lexington, South Carolina is the gunman that killed 9 people today on Wednesday at the Emanuel AME Church in Charleston. Police said the young white male will be seen driving a  black Hyundai with vehicle tag LGF330.


Police are asking all media houses to share the image of the culprit. Roof was pictured to be wearing a  a gray sweatshirt over a white T-shirt, blue jeans and Timberland boots.

Charleston police chief, Mullen said that police are currently going through all public and private videos that may aid them in catching the man. 

The police chief said : 

  No one in this community will ever forget this night and as a result of this and because of the pain and the hurt this individual has caused this entire community, the law enforcement agents are committed and we will catch this individual
