A teaching assistant, Sam Dickety, 23 has been sentenced for 4 years for having sex with a 15 year old student on school premises. Sam was working as learning support assistant at Henry Beaufort School in Winchester when he had sex with the girl.

Sam affair with the young girl was discovered on Facebook after the parents of the girl saw it via message. In the Facebook message, Sam gave the young girl his phone number and e-mail address and in one message he said he wished she wasn't 15.
On Dickety birthday, the girl sent a card that reads:
I love you so much and you mean everything to me, you are my handsome Sam. Ps, you'll get your present on Thursday haha."
The card was seen by her mother, who reported the case to the school authority, Dickety was warned not to have a one-on-one contact with the girl, but Dickety and the girl continue to meet for sex for another 2 months after the warning.
The pair had slept together on school property and areas restricted to students.
Dickety pleaded guilty to the 6 count charges elating to sexual activity with a child and was jailed for 4 years. The pregnant girlfriend of Dickety cries in public.
His name will also be on sex offender register and will not be allowed to work with children and vulnerable people.
