Update On San Bernardino Shooters: Police have identified the two San Bernardino shooters, Syed Farook and Tashfeen Melik and both were killed during gunfire with the police. The two suspects were killed in an SUV after a shootout with more than 20 policemen, police chief Jarrod Burguan told reporters.
Police also found something similar to a pipe bomb in the car, but its not explosive, he said. The third shooter is currently on the run.
Police are hunting for one to three suspects who were involved in the shooting near a centre for people with developmental disabilities, San Bernadino in California. According to police chief Jarrod Burguan while speaking to reporters said 14 people have been killed while 14 others have been injured in the massive shooting.
The suspects came with long guns, and according to the police chief;
These were people that came prepared. ... They were armed with long guns, not hand guns.Most of the victims were "centrally located in one area of the facility," Police didn't exchange gunfire with the shooters.
The shootings happened in the conference centre at the inland regional centre, Lavina Johnson, the centre's executive speaks to reporters. Lavina believed that the county's Department of Public Health was having a holiday party when it happened. The fire alarm went off and people started evacuating the building, then order came for people to stay in a police, while the police then help in evacuation.
Four adults have been transferred to Loma Linda University Medical Center and the hospital is expecting three more patients, Briana Pastorino, hospital spokesperson said, also Arrowhead Regional Medical Center has received eight patients
Bomb squad and SWAT have been deployed to clear the building.
