The West African Examination Council, WAEC, has released the November/December 2015 General Certificate Examination (GCE) result. At a news conference on Thursday in Lagos, the Head National Office of the Council, Mr. Isaac Adenipekun, said that 237,154 sat for the examinations and 235,542 candidates got their results released to them. 1,612 have issues with their results, and the problems have been traced to student errors during registrations and when writing the examination.
According to Mr Adenipekun, 79,490 candidates scored above 6 credits while 13,573 candidates obtained 5 credits. 146,253 candidates obtained credits and above in 4 subjects, 175,718 candidates obtained credits and above in 3 subjects and 200,304 candidates obtained credits and above in 2 subjects.
Mr Adenipekun said that the results were already on the portal of the council and students can start checking their results online.
