Lindsay Lohan community service

The teen star Lindsay Lohan has turned to Islam and was seen with the Quran as she steps out in Brooklyn after court-ordered community service at a children's centre. The Irish-Italian actress was raised as a Catholic, and was seen with the Quran as she starts emotional detox giving up alcohol and dating.

              

The actress had said in her interview with Oprah that she is religious, and had shown interest in different religion in the past. The actress was rumoured to be attending Kabbalah classes, and in 2012 she reportedly joined Courtney Love's Buddhist chanting group. She is seen with a Kabbalah red string bracelet which is known to ward off misfortune brought about by "evil eye"

The "Herbie" and "Mean girls" star was asked to do a 125 hours community service following a 2012 car crash in Los Angeles and needs to be done before the end of the month. She had pleaded guilty to the reckless driving and lying to police charges.

She is expected to work 8-hour a day and administrators expected her to arrive on time for the service.
