As Nigerians prepare for the change of power come May 29th, 2015. The President-elect and Vice-president elect, General Muhammadu Buhari and Prof. Yemi Osinbajo have released the official portrait to the Nigerian public.
The picture's release was confirmed by the media office of the camps of the president elect, also the media said the President-elect will drop the military title of the "General" from the office designation when he assumed office.
The media office said :
President-elect and Vice-President-elect are to be respectively known and addressed as Muhammadu Buhari, President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria and Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria .
The photographs were taken by the Bayo Omoboriowo, the StateCraft Inc. photographer. The photographer that had been with the APC camp and the president-elect all through his campaign periods.
