Nobody in their right mind will want to be in the shoes of Sean Penn at this time after he unintentionally led the Mexican marine to the Mexican drug lord, El Chapo which led to the arrest of the man on Friday.
The link of the video was recently posted on Youtube, where El Chapo confirmed to be the biggest drug trafficker in the world, a statement he confirmed in the interview, but had previously told police he is a farmer, and that is the source of his wealth.
The meeting of El Chapo and Sean Penn was reported to have happened in a Mexican jungle last October after it was arranged by a close friend of El Chapo, Mexican actress Kate del Castillo and a fixer, and they were given permission by the Sinaloa cartel.
In the interview, El Chapo said that he is the biggest distributor of the methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana and he has got a fleet of submarines, planes, trucks, boats to help in the distribution. El Chapo in the interview with Sean said that he had sent his team to Germany to learn about underground tunnel construction as he was scared of underlying water under the prison cell.

Though Sean Penn had recently written that he did not sell out, as he knows who El Chapo is, and will not mess with his trust.

How They Met
Sean had met a fixer called Espinoza, a friend of del Castillo, and had used the influence to seek audience for an interview with the drug, surprisingly they agreed to the interview. On the day of the interview, Penn and his team were met at the appointed place, and were stripped off all their electronic gadgets, and were later driven off at top speed to an abandoned airstrip, and later took a jet to where El Chapo stays, the driver of the car that had driven Sean and his team was El Chapo son, Alfredo Guzman , and he revealed to Guzman that their helicopters do carry scramblers to avoid detection by radar.
El Chapo arrested
After 14 hours, Sean was able to meet with the most wanted man in Mexico, El Chapo to grant him the exclusive interview since his escape in July 2015. The interview took place just 200 miles from the Altiplano prison, the same prison he had escaped from. In the town of Tamazula, Durango, close to the hometown of El chapo.
After the interview, the Mexican marine had known where the drug lord was staying, and wanted to raid his apartment days after the interview, but the mission was later aborted after they saw he was always with a woman and a child.
They had to wait till now and raided his home on Friday, 4am, capturing the most powerful drug lord in Mexico.
Mexican authorities have decided to hand over El Chapo to the US authorities as he is a wanted man in many states in the USA, and his lawyers are currently fighting the extradition, which is likely to take several months.
Sean Penn and the Mexican actress are under investigation in Mexico at the moment.
