Ghana deportation

Trinidad : A Trinidad court had approved the deportation of 6 Ghanaian nationals staying in the country illegally. The court hearing that was held last Saturday 6th of December, ended in the early hours of Sunday the 7th of Dec, 2014. The West African nationals that had entered into the country had written a petition to why they should be deported, but their petition was overturned by the Judge, Justice Ricky Rahim.

One of the deportees, Richard Ofori Appiah was in possession of a passport with a fake stamp and was arrested on the 25th of february,2011. He had argued and had said he will leave the country after he was released, but recently, Richard was lobbying for a Permanent resident card.

He had argued with the immigration department that the information was wrong, and they need to produce a document that can substantiate their allegations. The immigration department had to search the nooks and crannies of his previous deportation document around midnight and produce the document to the court. He will be deported to Ghana soon.

Seidu Abdulai entered the country illegally and decides the best way to stay permanently is marrying a wife from the country. Seidu was arrested in the 2013 and was fined for illegal entry. He was asked to pay $5000.He was asked to leave the country, but he also did not, instead was running around the different states/provinces in Trinidad.

He was arrested and later wrote a letter for presidential pardon. It was denied and will soon be joining the family in Ghana.

Even though he possess a temporary residence permit. The judge had said he should be deported as well and sent back to Ghana. Techie will be detained before heading back to his home country, Ghana.

Suleiman will also be deported for illegal entry too. He had written a note for his case to be looked into, but the court sitting on Saturday had declined his request and order that he is deported along with other Ghanaians as soon as possible.

The other 2 Africans to be deported from Trinidad are Henry Mensah and Ernest Aglago. The duo came into the country illegally and had appeal that they are allowed to stay there as refugees. They claimed that the fear of Ebola in Ghana, the west African country had made them run for their life and they don't want to be caught in the epidemic. Justice Ricky Rahim had asked them to be deported as they could not make a strong case and Ebola never affected anybody in Ghana.

Why are African youths harassing themselves all over Asia, Europe, United Kingdom and America? Please advise if you have answers to that question.
