The mother of 2pac and former black panther member, Afeni Shakur is dead. According to Marin County Sheriff’s Department officials , they had responded to a call Afeni's home in Sausalito, Calif. at approximately 9:43 p.m, she was transported to the nearby hospital, but she couldn't make it, and was pronounced dead at 10:28pm.
Afeni's is believed to have died of a heart attack, but her death is also set to be investigated to determine the real cause of her death.
Before her death, Afeni was the leader and founder of Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation, a foundation for her son, after he was shot dead in 1996, a case that remains un-solved in Las Vegas.
