Nigerian Military Retires 11 Generals From The Nigerian Army Ordinance Corp

The Nigerian army have retired 11 generals from the Military. The men were pulled out of the Nigerian Army ordinance Corp on Friday, and their celebrated on Friday in Lagos.

In a speech by Maj.-Gen. Mahmood Yerima, former Chief of Training and Operations, Defence Headquarter, he appreciated the gesture of the military towards them and pledged that he and other retired officers will keep the Nigeria flag flying high. He also advised the military personnel to be loyal and extra vigilant.

            

The Name of the retired military officers are:

 Major-General Mahmood Yerima
 Major-General  Abiodun Amao
 Major-General Olayemi Abidoye
 Major-General Boniface Azurunwa
 Major-General  Adekunle Martin
 Major-General Christian Ugwu
 Major-General  Bode Ogini
 Major-General Mashudy Adekanye

Your loyalty to the Federal Republic of Nigeria can best be given through vigilance and security consciousness.You must continue to demonstrate total commitment to your duty to the nation just as you have exemplified in your recent successes in the fight against terrorism in the north-east.
