A New Security Flaw Crashes Google Chrome

A computer geek, Andris Atteka have discovered a code that crashes Google Chrome when a null character is added in the URL. The characters when typed into Google Chrome URL text field will send the browser into crashing.

Users of the Google Chrome have been asked not to fall for the flaw and not to type the character when asked to do it. Google Chrome will crash on user's computer when they type in this URL; http://a/%%30%30.

                    

Security researchers found that the character at the moment only affects Google Chrome and other browsers like Firefox, Safari are not affected by the flaw.

Google is working on fixing the flaw, and have warned their users of tweets or pranks from friends asking them to try the character.
