Australian has become known for producing mass Jihadist fighters to the Middle East, and more than 90 Australians have known to have joined the terrorist group, ISIS, and about half of them are known to be dual citizens.
On Thursday, in a bid to strengthen its anti-terrorism measures, a new bill has now been passed that will strip Australian dual citizenship from any individual suspected/convicted of terrorism.
Attorney General George Brandis said that "Dual nationals who engage in terrorism are betraying their allegiance to this country and do not deserve to be Australian citizens".
