Donald J Trump Scandal

After the Robert Mueller team investigated Psy-group,  an Israeli company for its online manipulation tactics during the 2016 elections, the company shut down.

Psy-group is also known as Invop Ltd. , and it is listed under the  Israeli state registrar’s database. The company during the 2016 U.S. election launched an online manipulation campaign.

According to the New York Times, Donald Trump Jr. met with the Israeli media specialist Joel Zamel months before the election, that was also when the company was developing a proposal for  a "covert multimillion-dollar online manipulation campaign” a move to help Donald Trump win the 2016 election.

According to the report, Zamel learnt that the campaign would be illegal in the U.S., therefore wanted to end it, but he later got a $2 million from a Trump associate. He had now gone under investigation by the Mueller's team, and also the employees ofthe  Psy-group have also been questioned by the FBI in Israel.

The FBI also worked with local law enforcement to seize all computers owned by Mr Zamel.

Also, Cambridge Analytica, a company that stole Facebook information and was in the midst of numerous scandal after it was known that the company ran different campaigns to help the then candidate Trump win, had declared bankruptcy.

Many US politicians that had met with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak have all been in the news for colluding with the Russian government to hack the US election.

Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak was the reason that Michael Flynn got fired, he was the reason Attorney Jeff Sessions had to face the US congress and recuse himself from the Trump-Russia investigation, and Jared Kushner, Trump son-in-law is also under scrutiny after he failed to disclose his meeting with Kislyak.

The controversial diplomat has now been called home by its government rather than install him in a senior role at the country’s U.N. mission in New York. He has also served as the country's ambassador for 10 years, but his name will remain in the US media for another few months as the US intelligence investigates Russia collusion in the 2016 elections.

The country's deputy foreign minister, Anatoly Antonov is said to take over Kislyak job.

House Congressional Republicans are taking their stand with Special counsel Robert Mueller, who is leading the investigation of Trump-Russia investigation. According to the Donald Trump friend, Trump is considering firing Robert Mueller, and once again stopping the investigation.

Republicans are not asking the president not to entertain such thoughts as it will send a bad signal across Washington and the country.

 Rep. Adam Kinzinger said "That would obviously be a bad move. I don’t think he’s really pondering it, My thought is more it’s somebody like Newt Gingrich floating it because he’s got a book coming out."

Donald Trump friend is Christopher Ruddy,  CEO of Newsmax Media while speaking to PBS on Monday and CNN on Tuesday says that Trump is considering Mueller, as he finds him “illegitimate, ” another Trump's supporter, Newt Gingrich who floated the idea, calling for Mueller's removal.

White House did not corroborate on Ruddy's statement, but instead distanced itself from the statement.

Congressional Republicans are now asking that the President allows Mueller to do this job, and some of the Republicans that have supported Mueller includes House speaker Paul Ryan.

At a press conference, Paul Ryan said;

I know Bob Mueller and I have confidence in Bob Mueller,I think the best thing to do is to let Robert Mueller do his job. I think the best vindication for the president is to let this investigation go on independently and thoroughly.

Though President Trump can't fire Mueller, he can only be fired by AG Sessions, but since Sessions already recused himself from the investigations, Trump can ask Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who was also the one that asked him to come aboard, and also is behind Mueller.

Though if Rosenstein refuses to fire Mueller, Trump could asks for his resignation letter or fire him, and ask Roseintein successor to let Mueller dissolve the investigation, or it gets better, Trump could ask that the Justice Department amend the regulation that will allow him fire Mueller from the investigation.

It will also be a dramatic turn of events of Trump decides to fire Mueller, because of the outrage and bad new coverage he got when the fired former FBI director, James Comey.

Another information from the White House revealed that President Trump bragged to the Russian on how he fired the director of the FBI, James Comey, and the sack of the director had relieved of him a "great pressure".

President Trump said;

I just fired the head of the F.B.I. He was crazy, a real nut job,” Mr. Trump said, according to the document,I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.

I’m not under investigation.

President Trump said these words while he was in a meeting on May 10 with Russian officials, Russia’s foreign minister, Sergey V. Lavrov and  Russian ambassador to the United States, Sergey I. Kislyak, who had come into the President Oval office, just a day after James Comey was fired. A statement that justifies and proves that James Comey was fired because of his investigation, which seems to be yielding results against the personnel of the Trump's administration.

Press secretary of the White House, Sean Spicer did not dispute the latest comment. Sean said that Comey had politicized his investigation, and his investigation is also bars good diplomacy the President intended to have with the Russian government.

Sean said;

By grandstanding and politicizing the investigation into Russia’s actions, James Comey created unnecessary pressure on our ability to engage and negotiate with Russia. The investigation would have always continued, and obviously, the termination of Comey would not have ended it. Once again, the real story is that our national security has been undermined by the leaking of private and highly classified conversations.

The information Donald Trump revealed to the Russia officials have been provided exclusively to U.S, and the U.S has not been permitted to share such information with its allies or Russia. The information is so sensitive that it is also restricted between some department in the U.S government.

This may cause the ally who had good inner working of the Islamic state to withold further information that will help the U.S in its fight in the region, as Donald Trump recent scandal endangers the cooperation of an important ally.

Another day, another Donald Trump Russia scandal, as former campaign manager, Paul Manifort was found to have secretly worked for the Russia billionaire with plans to "greatly benefit the Putin Government," and as been doing so since 2005 under Republican President Bush, even at the time the US-Russia relations grew worse.

According to the AP, a confidential strategy by Manifort proposed a strategic plan that would influence politics, business dealings and news coverage in the United States, Europe and former Soviet republics in a way that will benefit the Putin government.

Manifort proposed the strategy to aluminium magnate Oleg Deripaska and a very close ally of Putin, and his proposal was signed by Oleg, which was  a $10 million annual contract. The relationship between the two business parties was maintained until 2009, and this is also confirmed via interviews with people, and also a source familiar with the contract.

In his memo to Deprisaka, Manifort wrote;

We are now of the belief that this model can greatly benefit the Putin Government if employed at the correct levels with the appropriate commitment to success The effort, Manafort wrote, "will be offering a great service that can re-focus, both internally and externally, the policies of the Putin government.

The White House brushed the news aside, but it raised a fresh alarm at the Congress.

Press secretary Sean Spicer said that Candidate Trump was not aware of Manifort involvement with Oleg Deripaska, he said;

  To suggest that the president knew who his clients were from 10 years ago is a bit insane

Paul Manifort plan was well laid out in the document obtained by Associated press, and also documents that show wire transfers of  millions of dollars, but how much work was done by Manifort is unknown. This is also contradictory to what the Trump administration and Manifort said, as Manifort once said he never worked for the Russian government.

On Wednesday, Manifort confirmed he had worked with Deripaska, but denied his work was pro-Russia, and he said;

I look forward to meeting with those conducting serious investigations of these issues.

Mr Deripaska official representative also responded to the allegation in a statement said;

There was an agreement between Mr. Deripaska and Mr. Manafort to provide investment consulting services related to business interests of Mr Deripaska which now is a subject to legal claims.

Two Republicans senators, and also a critic of Donald Trump Russia connection, Sen John McCain and Senator Graham commented on the recent revelation of Manifort.

Senator McCain said, this is a "serious stuff" and asked for more evidence into the issue, by using an independent congressional committee to investigate Trump, "Other shoes will drop" he said.

Senator Graham of South Carolina said;

Clearly, if he's getting millions of dollars from a billionaire close to Putin, to basically undermine democratic movements, that's something I'd want to know about. I doubt if Trump knew about it.
