Lagos, Nigeria: Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, also known as Skales has come on Twitter to reveal a news that was a surprise to the fan. Skales tweeted that Olamide has helped pay for his video in 2014, and ever since the "Shake body"video, he has seen a turnaround in his life.

                        

Olamide later responded to the tweet that the act was supposed to be a secret between the duo, and Skales responded that he had tried to do so, but he wanted his fan to know the real OG, Olamide.

Skales was recently arrested by his record label management, Baseline Records, but in recent weeks, the duo has now come to an agreement, and Skales is still in the team. 

When the news got to the general public, it was no doubt the trending topic on different social network, with everybody saying their own opinion about his contract, and how he has signed a slave contract in 2016.

                

To address the whole issue all at once, the musician decided to bring on his former label boss, EME co-founder, Banky W, and both decided to let everybody know how they live, or spend their earnings shouldn't be Nobody's business.

Nigerian musician and former Wizkid label mate, Skales and his manager, Osagie Osarenkhoe, have been detained by the Nigeria police after they were reported by Skales record label to have defrauded the label of tens of millions of Naira.

According to Instagram user, and an affiliate of Baseline records, Wale Ewedemi, Skales was remanded for diverting the record label funds, and the pair are helping police with their investigations.

                    

According to speculation, the 2 were both detained till 12am. A contract note of Skales that was released to the public after the incident, Skales was only entitled to 30% of all his music rghts, brand endorsement, and anything relating to his brand.

Skales or Osagie are yet to denied the stories, and a lot of Nigerians are asking why Skales would have signed such a deal, as he had previously worked with EME, and should understand the Nigeria music structure than an upcoming.

Also, according to the contract clause of termination for skales, he is to pay 10million pounds if he decides to leave the record label ahead of his signed date.

Skales drops new music as the year seems to wrap up with "Mu jo" The song is produced by Killer tunes, and this one is definitely for the club and also for anyone that fancy a good dance. "Mu jo" means dance.

                   

Skales who had dreamed of being the first artiste to bring GRAMMY to Nigeria, doesn't seem to be on the path again. His new songs are great, we just reminding him of his previous dream.

Skales has dropped video for "Lo Le" off his "Man of the year" album. The video features cameos from Ketchup and GGB. 

           

The video sees Skales and his friends arrive at the bar hoping to all take different girls home, but at the end of the day, all Skales friends had a girl, but he had to go home alone. Lo Le means "Go down," which means dance and go down low.
