Fake news has been one of the reasons for the twist of election in the U.S presidential election, with some believing that the fake news that was being posted about the candidates might have swayed electors about Hillary Clinton.

Tech companies are now fighting against fake news in their domains, with Google taking the first step by banning Adsense account of websites that publish fake news, and Facebook has said it will start allowing users to report any link of fake news on the platform.

To be able to help users understand how they could identify fake news, we have put together checklists of what you should look out for when you read news online that are completely false.

A News Without A Credible Source, Image Or Video: Most of the fake news that are written are most without a credible source to a known news source. The only source is their own quote, and most of the links they will share with you might be another link to another fake news website that is not credible, all written to hurt the subject.

The Headlines Are All In Caps: Fake news websites are in the good habit of making out their headline to be all caps. The headlines are done to get attention for clicks. Most of these websites on social media will then have a fake, edited images or image of an Old news as the article image.

They can write something like: "OBAMA WITHDRAWS SECURITY DETAIL FROM DONALD TRUMP TOWER BECAUSE" . A lot of social media users are likely to click on the news as the U.S election is still new, and Donald Trump is always in the middle of controversies, the word "BECAUSE" will make readers curious, and click.

This is not only a click bait, but such news is also likely not to have credible source, or any links with White-house correspondent, and might have the picture of President Obama speaking with some secret service details.

No Author Name Or Details: Most news outlet might not have names of the name of the authors of an article on their website, It is a great feature for a news website to have the thumbnail image and the name of the writer of a news article, as it will help give confidence to readers of the website.

PS: We don't have names of author on Doy News due to reasons best known to the board, but request on writers will be given if necessary to the appropriate individual.

The website uses a look-alike logo of the real ABC news,and design format, and uses a domain name that seems to go along with ABC news, but added  a .co. Unknown or inexperienced users of the internet will believe this site, but it is an example of a  fake news website

News Articles Are Listed On is a website that fact checks all fake news online, though a lot of liars that just like to digest anything online won't like a site like Snopes, but if the news article is on Snopes, and it appears as false, then it is a fake news, as Snopes do thorough fact checking of fake news online and social media.

                       Sample of a article.

About Us Page Disclaimer: More fake news have started to let readers know that their news is either fantasy or satire, though a lot of people don't see this, they just read and digest the news, and base their argument on it. This can be risky and wrong information or news spread real fast.

No Other Story Related To The Story: Online If a story sound so serious on a new news website, and no other news website are sharing the story, then it is probably fake news.Though a news website might get an exclusive, but it needs to show evidence of such incident to get great news following.

Some of sample of websites like this is of Alex Jones. It is always a mixture of fake and some "Ok" news.

Be careful what you read, because you are what you read.

Donald Trump has started to put smiles on the faces of the people of America after saving around 1900 jobs for the people of Indiana. The President-elect recently had tweeted he is negotiating with defence contractor United Technologies not to ship their plants to Mexico.

On Tuesday, Trump once again tweeted that the negotiations with Carrier is now successful, and they won't be moving to Mexico any longer.

Carrier is owned by defence contractor United Technologies and in February had announced it will close down two Indiana plants, a Carrier plant in Indianapolis employed 1400 people and another a United Technologies Electronic Controls plant in nearby Huntington, Indiana, that employs 700.

Though Carrier did not elaborate on the deal it struck with Donald Trump, the company via his twitter account had said it will no longer be moving to Mexico, after some talk with President-elect, Donald Trump.

The company had planned to move before the meeting with Donald Trump, as they believe moving away from the US will save them $65 million a year in labour costs.

The president elect, and vice president elect and also Indiana governor, Mike Pence, will be in Indiana on Thursday to announce the deal.

A university of Michigan professor of Economics, Justin Wolfers, said that the new deal for Carrier could set a bad precedent for other company by threatening to leave the US for Mexico.

Justin tweeted;

One of President Obama legacy is the 12-nation Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), and one of the reason for Obama visit to Vietnam in May this year, and it was about to be signed and confirmed by the Vietnam legislature, before deferring it to after the U.S presidential election.

The future of the TPP looks blur after the shocking victory of the GOP nominee, Donald Trump, and a congress led by the Republican. During Donald Trump campaign, he had called the TPP a complete "Disaster", and will put a stop to it.

The TPP was suppose to be a big boom for Vietnam manufacturing and export industries, due to its cheap labour and relative stability.

Speaking to the National Assembly, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said;

The United States has announced it suspends the submission of TPP to the parliament so there are not sufficient conditions for Vietnam to submit its proposal for ratification

While country like Malaysia has decided it will stick with wrapping up a multi-nation trade pact led by China, Japan has said it will stick with the TPP and proceed to push its ratification.

The TPP was seen as a major factor to strengthen ties between the U.S and Vietnam,considering their past, and also the trouble with China over the South/East China/Vietnam Sea.

The prime minister said Vietnam is committed to  opening up its economy to the world.

It is hard to deny the fact that President Barack Obama is the king of subliminal messages, especially when it comes to replying Donald Trump, and once again he did it again while at Jimmy Kimmel live "mean tweet" session.

The Mean tweet lets celebrities reads the tweets that are mean from people that don't like them or love what they do, and President Obama, though had done this last year, but he was again invited for another mean tweet session, and this type, Donald Trump gets it as always.

Donald Trump is known for his criticism on the Obama government, and he does it via tweets and his rallies. In one of this tweets, Trump tweeted;

And President Obama responded with;

         "Well @realDonaldTrump, at least I will go down as a president"

After his response, President Obama drops the mic on Trump as a champ Cool

On November 8, 2016, Americans will decide on their new president between 2-popular political parties, the Republican candiate, Donald J. Trump and Democratic candidate and first woman to assume the position, Hillary Clinton.

There are dedicated supporters of Clinton and Trump. People have taken to their social media accounts to campaign for their own preferred candidates. A lot of fist thrown around, smiles, the scandal has been thrown around, and sometimes people around the world wonder if this is the American they have grown up to hear about.

On November 8, when Barack Obama steps down, American would need a new president, but before you go out there, I will like to advise you on a few things to consider before you use the voting machine.

1. You are not just voting for just a month or six months, anybody you decide to vote for will be in the White house for either four, or possibly eight years. Make sure the lady or man telling you their  campaign promises can live up to that promise, because most of their decisions are what you will live through all 8 years, or forever.

2. Don't be selfish when voting. Don't look at what you stand to gain from the election, but what majority tends to gain from the candidate. Think if the candidate policy will ruin the chances of others.

3. American politics is not America football game, they are two different things. I have seen a lot of Americans standing with the party their parents or grand-parents had always been loyal to, but sometimes, we all need to take a step back and watch things and decide on our own terms.

This is your life and generation, take charge of it.

Do not vote for a candidate because they belong to your party and you want your party member to lead the country. That would be disastrous, but vote for someone that will move things forward for at least 80% American and also American allies.

4. Remember your vote is your power as a citizen. Once they get there, your power will only be used again in 4 years, unless they sleep with their intern or break some of American law. So it would be wise to not just sit on your computer shaming people or staying on reddit.

Like Obama said, "Don't boo, vote" whether you are a republican or Democrats, please go and vote.

A 2005 recording has shown Donald Trump talks about how he groping women and make making sexual advances to married women has surfaced online, after the Washington post leaked the tape on Friday.

The recording was made when Trump was making guest appearances with Billy Bush on the set of soap opera, “Days of Our Lives, while Trump was not aware that his discussion with Billy was captured on the microphone.

In the recorded conversation, Trump talks about how he tried to sexually seduce an unnamed married woman, Trump said;

I did try and f--- her. She was married. And I moved on her very heavily. In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, ‘I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture.

I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married.

I failed. I’ll admit it

You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them,” Trump says. “It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it.You can do anything. Grab them by the p---y. You can do anything.

One month to the election is always a scary time for politicians who are aspiring to assume political offices in the U.S, as this is also the time their opponent gets to play their last card, and nobody knows what the last card opponents might have on each other.

The news of Donald Trump talking about his groping and trying to seduce a married woman has once again teared the GOP apart as the GOP politicians, House Speaker Paul Ryan, Gov. Scott Walker and Sen. Ron Johnson. were supposed to meet at Wisconsin on Saturday, but Paul Ryan has said Trump would not be joining in the event after the tape was released.

I am sickened by what I heard today. Women are to be championed and revered, not objectified. I hope Mr. Trump treats this situation with the seriousness it deserves and works to demonstrate to the country that he has greater respect for women than this clip suggests. In the meantime, he is no longer attending tomorrow’s event in Wisconsin.

Responding to the video via his Facebook page after 14 hours the recording was leaked, Trump said;

I said it. I was wrong. I apologize

Donald Trump has said the killing of Sylville Smith, 23, that was shot by police last Saturday was justified. According to official reports, Smith was shot because he was armed with a weapon, and pointing the gun to the officer that shot him.

During an interview with Fox news, Donald Trump said;

The gun was pointed at his [a police officer's] head supposedly ready to be fired. Who can have a problem with that? That's what the narrative is. Maybe it's not true. If it is true, people shouldn't be rioting.

Donald Trump suggested that the reason for the recent unrest in the country is because of his opponent, Hillary Clinton,  Donald claimed that the Democratic nominee had been “peddling a narrative of the police as a racist force."

According to recent polls, Donald Trump trails behind Hillary Clinton ahead of November 8 presidential vote.

Obama once again throws a jab at the Republican party nominee, Donald Trump on Tuesday, calling him “unfit” to be president. The president makes the remark during a White house news conference with Singapore's prime minister, Lee Hsien Loong, in response to Trump's attack on an American Muslim family, Khizr and Ghazala Khan, whose son was killed in Iraq.

President Obama also advises Republican leaders to withdraw support for Donald Trump for disrespecting a Gold star family.

The Genesis/The Donald Bait

Khizr and Ghazala Khan, father of a US fallen soldier had appeared during the Democratic National Convention, and during his speech criticized Trump for his comment on banning Muslim and Immigrants. Khizr called Trump unpatriotic and also selfish, and accused him of his divisive comments and asking for him to read the American constitution.

Trump replies in part, and slightly attacking Khizr's faith by suggesting that during the speech, Ghazala Khan, wife of Khizr was not allowed to speak because of her religion.

Ghazala then responded to Trump that she did not want to speak, as she will get too emotional.

Obama Rides Trumps

The notion that he would attack a Gold Star family that had made such extraordinary sacrifices on behalf or our country, the fact that he doesn't appear to have basic knowledge around critical issues in Europe, in the Middle East, in Asia means that he's woefully unprepared to do this job

Obama said during the press conference. Obama, who noted that the speaker of the house, Paul Ryan, Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell and Senator McCain have all criticized Trump's comment on the Khan's, but still hold on to their endorsement of him.

Obama then said;

  The question I think that they have to ask themselves is, if you are repeatedly having to say in very strong terms that what he has said is unacceptable, why are you still endorsing him.

   What does this say about your party that this is your standard-bearer?"

Obama himself has endorsed the Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton, and according to a Gallup poll released last month, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are among the worst-rated presidential candidates of the last 70 years.

Justin Bieber turned down $5 million to perform at a Republican event during the GOP convention. According to confirmed sources, promoters reached out to Justin Bieber that he would perform at a venue near Quicken Loans Arena, and Justin does not need to endorse Donald Trump or any GOP policies.

According to the deal, money would be paid upfront before Justin perform at the event, and the GOP donors would also cover production expenses. According to the contract, the show was bankrolled by GOP donors.

This would have been a single biggest payday for Justin Bieber, but his manager, Scooter Braun, and Lebron James talk him out of it, though he seriously considered the offer as he is a Canadian and not involved in US politics.

Scooter Braun is a big supporter of Hillary Clinton, and once had a fundraiser event for the Democratic party nominee in his L.A home, and he believes that the offer is political, regardless of its representation. He also told Justin he would quit being his manager if he takes up the gig offer.

Sources revealed that Justin would perform if he could the banner "Black Lives Matter", but the idea was immediately rejected by the donors, instead said that he could display a banner that says "All Lives Matter", and he could also o ahead and say any thing on stage, even if it insults Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has announced that Indiana state governor, Mike Pence will be his running mate and would join him on the GOP ticket to run for President and Vice-president. In a Donald's fashion of passing out information, Trump tweeted saying;

The VP pick of Donald J. Trump has been met with great reviews as Republicans have hailed him for picking the Indiana state governor.

Donald Trump is known for his outspoken personality and getting into series of trouble via tweets and interviews, while Mike Pence is a cautionary leader that stuck close to the conservative orthodoxy since he started talking on the radio.

Accepting the offer of Trump, the Indiana governor tweeted back and said;

Pence, who was running for re-election as the governor of Indiana would now drop out of the race, as his lawyer filed paperwork with the Indiana state secretary.

A new logo for their campaign was also released which features the letter T and P into each other, a logo that has not enjoyed the same review as the Trump and Pence themselves.
