Donald J Trump

A US college has decided to remove the American flag from its campus after the president-elect victory in the 2016 election. The college first lowered the flag following the announcement of Donald Trump victory, and after few days that the country celebrate Veteran’s Day, the flag was removed from the pole and burned.

The president of Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts,Jonathan Lash, in an email to students wrote;

Earlier this week, in the current environment of escalating hate-based violence, we made the decision to fly Hampshire's U.S. flag at half-mast for a time while the community delved deeper into the meaning of the flag and its presence on our campus

We hope that decision to remove the flag will enable us to instead focus our efforts on addressing racist, misogynistic, Islamophobic, anti-immigrant, anti-Semitic and anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and behaviours.

I ask our campus to join me in a commitment to living up to the ideals of our mission: to insist on diversity, inclusion, and equity from our leaders and in our communities.

The flag was burned on November 10, the Veterans day eve to protest against Trump's victory.

President-elect Donald Trump in his bid to make America great again is looking past those who had critized his style of campaign in the election, and instead inviting them to work with him in his administration.

Donald Trump today picks a former critic for a key foreign policy post. The president-elect picked South-Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley to be U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.

Nikki, 44, has criticized Trump during the campaign nomination, and had instead endorsed Florida Sen. Marco Rubio during the South Carolina primary. After Marco Rubio dropped from the Republican nomination, Nikki who won the election as governor of South Carolina in 2010 once again pitched her tent with Ted Cruz.

According to an official familiar with the transition committee, Haley is picked and the official announcement will be made on Wednesday.

According to a GOP consultant who is also from South Carolina, Bruce Haynes;

Haley is one of the brightest and hardest working leaders in the Republican Party," and said she will be "an incredibly valuable addition" to the Trump administration.

While she and Trump have differences, people forget Haley rose to stardom as an anti-establishment candidate, a young state Senator who beat older more experienced Republican candidates to become Governor.

So while she has been critical of Trump at times, she's a fellow political outsider.

The appointment of Nikki Haley is said to bring diversity to the Trump's administration that before now has said to consist of white males, as Haley is a daughter of Indian immigrants.

Though she had little foreign policy experience, she was reported to have gone on eight foreign trips as governor of Souh Carolina.

Haley will need to be confirmed by the senate.

The news during the campaign that she would lock her up when elected president, makes his supporter chants "lock her up" at every campaign rally.

Watch Donald Trump Threatens Hillary Clinton

On Tuesday, Kellyanne Conway announced that the president-elect will not pursue an investigation into the former secretary of state, Hillary Clinton private email server or the family charity organization.

While speaking to MSNBC, Ms Conway said;

I think when the President-elect, who’s also the head of your party, tells you before he’s even inaugurated that he doesn’t wish to pursue these charges, it sends a very strong message, tone, and content.

During the debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald J. Trump in early October, Trump told Hillary;

 if I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation

During one of his solo interview with CBS after he was elected, Donald Trump said;

I’m going to think about it,I feel that I want to focus on jobs, I want to focus on healthcare, I want to focus on the border and immigration and doing a really great immigration bill.

He said the Clintons did some bad things,” but that ultimately they were “good people”. “I don’t want to hurt them, I don’t want to hurt them,” he said. “They’re, they’re good people. I don’t want to hurt them.”

Just ten days before election, James Comey, FBI Director shock voters when he said that the FBI would be re-opening investigation on Hillary Clinton private server, something Hillary had claimed was the cause of her loosing the election to business mogul, Donald Trump.

Donald J. Trump once again ditched the media and decided to go with his favourite tool, social media to announce his plans for the 100 days in office. The President-elect releases a video talking about the core principle of his campaign and administration "putting America first," by laying out his executive plans for his first 100 days.

Trump has said his first 100 days will include; scrapping regulations on energy production, withdrawing from trade agreements and "investigating all abuses of visa programs."

The president-elect via his video message posted on Facebook said;

Whether it’s producing steel, building cars or curing disease, I want the next generation of production and innovation to happen right here, on our great homeland: America – creating wealth and jobs for American workers.

The video posted also would help the aides to the president-elect capture how they like him to be seen by the American people, and also avoided him from questions from the press.

The president-elect has been holed up in Trump Tower and his golf club in New Jersey in recent days meeting with potential cabinet members and advisers.

On Trans-Pacific Partnership

Donald Trump also said he would issue formal notification that the US would withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a trade agreement between the pacific-rim countries that is now stalled and virtually dead after Donald Trump was elected President.

Instead, Trump has said he would work out a "fair" bilateral agreement.

On Immigration

The President-elect said he will direct the Department of Labour to "investigate all abuses of visa programs that undercut the American worker," and would rescind on "job killing" rules on clean coal and natural-gas production.

On Cyber And Other Attacks

He said he would Department of Defence and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to come up with plans to protect American infrastructure from cyber and other attacks.

Ethics Reform

Donald Trump in his campaign has said he would "drain the swamp" in Washington, to get rid of corrupt politicians. In his transition update, Donald Trump said there will be a 5-year ban on executive official from becoming lobbyist after they leave the administration and a life ban on executive official lobbying on behalf of a foreign government.

Before ending the speech, the president-elect said;

These are just a few of the steps we will take to reform Washington and rebuild our middle class. I will provide more updates in the coming days, as we work together to make America great again for everyone, and I mean everyone.

President-elect Donald Trump grandfather,Friedrich Trump, a German, was reportedly banned from Germany after he failed to do military service. A historian has discovered a royal decree that was issued to Friedrich Trump asking him to leave Germany and never come back.

Friedrich Trump was issued the document on February 1905 and was ordered that he leave the kingdom of Bavaria within eight weeks for his failure to do the mandatory military service and his failure to inform authorities of his movement to US when he first departed in 1885.

According to a historian from Rhineland-Palatinate, Roland Paul, who found the document, he told the tabloid Bild;

Friedrich Trump emigrated from Germany to the USA in 1885. However, he failed to de-register from his homeland and had not carried out his military service, which is why the authorities rejected his attempt at repatriation.

F.Trump was born in Kallstadt, now in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, in 1869. He emigrated to the US at the age of 16 to escape poverty.

He travelled to Kallstadt in 1901 where he met his wife,  Elisabeth Christ, and both moved to the US. When Elisabeth was home sick and wanted to travel back to Germany, the authorities block his attempts to settle there.

In 1905, he tried to overturn the order the royal decree, and wrote to Prince Regent Luitpold, appealing to him, and addressing him as “the much-loved, noble, wise and righteous sovereign and sublime ruler”.

The king rejected his appeal once again, and the Trump family left Germany for New York on 1 July 1905  with their daughter on the Hapag steamship Pennsylvania. At the time they were moving to New York, Elisabeth was pregnant with Donald Trump father, Fred.

People of Kallstadt in south-west Germany joke about Trump become the president, and put the blame on the German authorities. The 1,200 small town known for wine-growing has shown little interest or claim Donald Trump as one of their own.

A lot of people have called Donald J. Trump different names, but I have decided to jump on the bandwagon, and many times in the past, Donald Trump has tweeted a lot of harmful things, especially towards the presidency of Barack Obama.

Few hours ago, a tweet from 25th of Nov. 2014 was shared by my Twitter followers and I think it is fine to say the U.S president elect,Donald Trump is an outright racist. He had been accused of saying things about African-Americans in the past, but the tweet here says it all..

I did not believe this image myself, I had to find that tweet to make sure am not making a false accusation.

If you think he is not a racist with this type of mindset, comment your argument below.

Receiving the certificate of credence from the new US foreign ambassadors to Russia, Putin acknowledged that he heard the Trump comment about working with Russia, and he welcomes the development, though it won't be a easy one.

The new relationship between the countries will benefit both US and the Russia.

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte seems to be happy with the Donald Trump victory in the recent U.S election, and have sent him "warm congratulations" and would also love to work with him going forward.

Duterte who is one of President Obama critics and have thrown insults at him on different occasion has hailed the success of of the U.S democratic system.

In a statement released by Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar,

Duterte looks forward to working with the incoming administration for enhanced Philippines-U.S. relations anchored on mutual respect, mutual benefit and shared commitment to democratic ideals and the rule of law

Duterte and the U.S have both campaigned against the political establishment in their different countries, making them win votes, and since Trump stands against the cabals, its no surprise Duterte is extending his hand of cooperation.

The President-Elect of The U.S, Donald J. Trump shocks the world on November 8th after he was announced as the 45th president of the United State.

Speaking after the announcement, Donald Trump addressed the crowd of supporters waiting for his speech, and informed them that his opponent, Hillary Clinton has called to congratulate him on his winning the election.

Donald Trump said;

Now it's time for America to bind the wounds of division — have to get together, Trump told screaming supporters gathered at the New York Hilton. To all Republicans and Democrats and independents across this nation, I say it is time for us to come together as one united people.

Though he had never held any political office before now, Donald Trump during his campaign in June 2015 said that "the establishment" and the government have all betrayed the American people with bad trade deals, bad immigration policies and a move toward a global economy that leaves the American people behind.

Such a beautiful and important evening! The forgotten man and woman will never be forgotten again. We will all come together as never before.
