David Cameron has decided to quit the EU after the UK today in its referendum decided to leave the European Union. The prime minister who was in support and leader of the "Remain" campaign. Speaking at Number 10, Downing street after the vote, David said Britain required "fresh leadership" to negotiate the Country's exit from the EU. He promised the people to "steady the ship" of the country in the next few months, and step down from office in October.

Police have shot dead a gunman that stormed into a cinema complex in the small western German town of Viernheim, near Frankfurt, injuring 20-50 people. A German Television showed heavily armed police stormed the Kinopolis complex in Viernheim, and a couple was seen fleeing the building.

Four Australians and a new Zealander have been reportedly kidnapped on the outskirts of Calabar, Nigeria, early Wednesday at about 5.30am, local time.  The gunmen attacked the foreigners in a car, and killed their driver at gunpoint. 

Pete Hoekstra,a former chairman of the U.S. House Intelligence Committee from 2004 to 2007 in his recent article has said President Muhammadu Buhari is Nigeria's problem and not the solution. In his article published by Wall Street Journal, Pete said that the economic policy of President Muhammadu Buhair is damaging and outdated and he is currently the problem in Nigeria, and not the solution.             

A girl has been caught in an unexpected incident, when her boyfriend set her up with another 8 boys to gang rape her in Florida. Five boys that participated in the barbaric act have now been apprehended by the police after raping and stealing her clothes. According to the police, the girl was called by her own boyfriend to hang out in an abandoned house at Ft Lauderdale. But after some minutes, she was nervous as different other boys came into the same building. 

A British MP, Jo Cox, 41,  had died after she was stabbed and shot on the street in a village in northern England where she was meeting with local constituents. The mother of two was left left bleeding on the pavement in Birstall, 200miles north of London, before airlifted to a local hospital where she died about an hour later.                                                                                 Jo Cox

Philippines: Abu Sayyaf Islamist militant has confirmed the killing of second Canadian hostage, Robert Hall, which they have had in custody since September 2015. The Canadian men were killed after their ransom demand by the Abu Sayaff of US$21.7 million for each hostage was not met, even though the ransom was later decreased to $6.3 million. Hall was abducted from the Oceanview resort along with the second Canadian, former mining executive John Ridsdel, also beheaded in April this year and a Norwegian and a Filipino. 

Around 20 people have been shot and another 42 transported to the hospital for various injuries in the early hours of Sunday morning after a gunman started a sporadic gun shooting at a Gay Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. The gunman had what looked like an explosive device around him, and police are sweeping the club for any explosives, and the exact number of body count is not final until the whole environment is deemed free of explosives.
