Nigerian DSS Foiled Boko Haram Attempt To Blow Up Ikoyi, Lagos, 45 People Arrested
The Department of State Services(DSS) has foiled an attack by the Boko Haram sect to blow up Dolphin estate in Ikoyi, Lagos. The DSS also arrested 45 members of Boko Haram in connection to the failed attack. The members of the terrorist group were arrested in September and were all charged to a Lagos State Magistrate’s Court sitting in Isolo on Friday, and they were all remanded in Kirikiri prison in Lagos state.

Retired consular official Li Qing Liang, 60, and his wife, Gou Jing, 57, are suspects in the shooting that killed two Chinese diplomats and another one wounded. According to state media, the shooting occured when the officials were having lunch at a restaurant in Cebu, Philippines.

Police in Delhi have arrested 2 juveniles over the gang raped of a toddler in Nangloi, India. And, in another locale, a 5-year-old was also raped in east Delhi's Anand Vihar area. The 2 victims were in "critical" condition. In Nangloi, the victim was abducted at the ramlila event near her house by 2 men on the motorbike around 11:30pm when the light went in her area went off, she was later found at a park near her house bleeding profusely.

Former Governor of Benue State Gabriel Suswam In EFCC Custody
The Economic and financial crimes commission have arrested the former Governor of Benue state, Gabriel Suswam. He was invited to answer for some fund misappropriation while he was ruling the state. Suswam left office in May 29 was alleged to have carted away billions of Naira state funds, and will need to defend the fraud committed. The EFCC had previously quizzed his commissioner of finance, Mr. Omadachi Oklobia last Friday, and they have gotten enough information to apprehend Suswam.
Police In Ondo State Arrest Eight Abductors Of Olu Falae
Police in Ondo have arrested eight suspected kidnappers of Chief Olu Falae. The suspects were arrested after two weeks of the release of the Chief Olu Falae for an undisclosed amount. The men were arrested in Niger, Ekiti and Ondo States respectively.                 A source from the Ondo state police command have confirmed the news of the arrest.
