Rivers State: A three man tribunal in election has nullified the gubernatorial election that saw Governor Nyesom Wike as governor of the state. The tribunal has also said that the fresh election in Rivers state should happen in 90 days.

Rivers, Nigeria: Kidnappers in Rivers are demanding N25million for the release of Joseph Dimpa, Mar­tina Ofuru, and Charity Mba­jike, and a National youth service corps (NYSC) member, Obinna Duru and a security guard, Jonathan Woforu. They were kidnapped on October 12 at the Agba-Ndele Community Secondary School in Emohua Local Gov­ernment Area of Rivers State. The kidnappers are making their demands known through one of the community chief of Ndele Community.

Police in Delhi have arrested 2 juveniles over the gang raped of a toddler in Nangloi, India. And, in another locale, a 5-year-old was also raped in east Delhi's Anand Vihar area. The 2 victims were in "critical" condition. In Nangloi, the victim was abducted at the ramlila event near her house by 2 men on the motorbike around 11:30pm when the light went in her area went off, she was later found at a park near her house bleeding profusely.

The former governor of Bayelsa state, Diepreye Alamiyeseigha had built a tomb for himself before his own death. The former governor tomb was shared online today after Governor Seriake Dickson visited the already built tomb. Diepreye Alamiyeseigha died at the University of Port-Harcourt teaching hospital after a long protracted illness, and also has been getting information he might be taken back to the UK to answer to his previous criminal charges, though he was given a state pardon by former president Goodluck Jonathan.

The Economic and financial crimes commission have arrested the former Governor of Benue state, Gabriel Suswam. He was invited to answer for some fund misappropriation while he was ruling the state. Suswam left office in May 29 was alleged to have carted away billions of Naira state funds, and will need to defend the fraud committed. The EFCC had previously quizzed his commissioner of finance, Mr. Omadachi Oklobia last Friday, and they have gotten enough information to apprehend Suswam.
